Today, November 3, 2022, the portal for selection of Pradhan Mantri Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) schools was launched by Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. The portal, pmshrischools.education.gov.in, allows state governments to submit applications online. Through the portal, state governments can select which schools to convert into PM SHRI schools. The schools will help demonstrate how the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 will be implemented and become models for other schools.
